NEWS

Where does our scholarship money go?

To find the answer just ask some of your colleagues.  Mandy Moore of Tri-City Medical Center was the recipient of the "First Time CNOR/CRNFA" grant.  Peka Ritchey of Tri-City Medical Center was awarded scholarship monies for the pursuit of her MSN.  Dolores Fazzino, who is  self employed is pursuing her Doctorate of Nursing and was awarded scholarship funds.  The total amount of funds dispersed this last AORN year of 2006 - 2007 were $3725.  Congratulations to all of those who received monies for education and certification this past year.  Are you interested in obtaining your CNOR or CRNFA certification, or going to school for your next nursing degree?  The San Diego Chapter can help.  There are applications in the newsletter, on-line and at every General Meeting.  And don't forget about the grant for First Time Attendees at Congress .  Any questions or comments please contact me; my contact information is in the newsletter.
